We're a collection of open source tools that create, configure, and work with containers.
- crun - A fast and lightweight fully featured OCI runtime and C library for running containers
- RamaLama - Simplifies local serving of AI models from any source and facilitates their use for inference in production through containers
- netavark - Container network stack
- podman-compose - A script to run docker-compose.yml using podman
- toolbox - Tool for interactive command line environments on Linux
- conmon - An OCI container runtime monitor
- conmon-rs - A Rust-based OCI container runtime monitor
We have an active community. Most of our community communication channels are around Podman, but we definitely welcome anyone with an interest in containers or any of our tools.
Maintainers of Containers and other community members generally chat here:
- IRC: #podman on libera.chat
- Matrix: #podman:fedoraproject.org
- Discord: Podman
Note: The Matrix room has been bridged with the Discord server
We also hold community meetings around once a month and have a mailing list for additional discussion.

We welcome and encourage contributions, including issues, discussions, and PR's. Please make sure to read our Contributing Guidelines and our Code of Conduct before doing so.
Found a security issue? Please visit the security issue reporting process of the individual project you are reporting against. Most projects have a SECURITY.md file in their top-level repository with specific instructions on how to report security vulnerabilities. If a SECURITY.md file doesn't exist, you can report security issues via the "Security and quality" tab in the project's repository.
LAST RESORT: If the project-specific security process is unclear, please open a public issue and tag @Luap99 and @mheon. They will help route your report appropriately. Do not include security issue details in the public issue - only mention the project for which you want to report the issue.
