What started with a mum who barely knew how to sew cutting patterns from old clothes and repurposing worn-out trousers soon turned into something far greater than she ever imagined. Each stitch was a sincere prayer, each creation a small act of faith, and every success big or small was only by the mercy and grace of Allah.

It began with children’s pyjamas, lovingly handmade at home. Then one day, a customer asked, “Can you make a burka?” and with that single request, the very first Jilbaab burka was born.

Soon after, her daughter who knew little about marketing or tech but had an undeniable love for gadgets joined in, becoming the heart behind Jilbaab’s growing online presence. Together, they stitched not just fabric, but a brand woven with sincerity, purpose, and love.

Years later, our customers still send us photos of their Jilbaab burkas: “This one’s 15 years old!” or “This came with me on my first Umrah.” Those stories remind us that what we create isn’t just clothing it’s part of people’s lives, journeys, and cherished memories.

And when the eldest daughter the one with the charm and effortless social grace recently joined in and said, “You know what? Jilbaab needs to be a real store, even if we start with just a small showroom in a public space,” we knew we had the right spirit — and the best team to make it happen.
