Jonathan Rooks

Jonathan Rooks is the owner and associate broker of the Grand Rapids, Michigan-based real estate company Parkland Properties. With a focus on waterfront and historic assets, Parkland Properties develops commercial and residential properties. 350 people work at the company. In addition, Rooks serves as president of the company Parkland Investments.

Since he established Parkland Properties in 1988, Rooks has worked there. His expertise includes buying outdated commercial structures, converting them to new uses, and selling Lake Michigan waterfront real estate.

Rooks has always been interested in real estate investing; he acquired his first home at age 15 with the assistance of a financier who had faith in him. The University of Michigan Business School awarded him a business bachelor's degree.
