RE_IMAGE

RE_IMAGE is an artist that demands a cultural (and socio-political) reset. A queer and non-binary DJ, musician and producer based in Naarm/Melbourne, RE_IMAGE explores radical perspectives and asks audiences to reimagine our systems and ways of living. To reimage is to wipe the hard drive and install a brand new operating system and, through activism and queer artistic expression, that is what RE_IMAGE works towards. Only launching onto the Naarm/Melbourne DJ scene at the end of 2023, they have gone on to perform at Pride of our Footscray, The National Richmond, Slayground, the Unassigned Gallery, and were the regular DJ at Flair Fridays. RE_IMAGE is also an experienced pianist and musical director and has worked on a variety of queer-centric drag, cabaret and theatre pieces, as well as accompanied many vocalists and bands alike.
