Design a beat with bees! They move in synchronized 16-step loops through the meadow, triggering sounds when they visit flowers. Get started by assigning random sounds. Generate new bee paths for different rhythmic patterns.
The samples are from the Ace Tone Rhythm Ace FR-1. This was the machine used by a Bee (Gee) called Robin Gibb in "Saved by the Bell" (1969), said to be the first pop song with a drum machine in its mix.
Made for Maxwell Neely-Cohen's 10,000 Drum Machines project in between walks around Manchester, a place of bees and meadows aplenty!
