Station Calculations
Station data is recorded for every day according to its observation time. An exception to this is the following: COOP Stations with observation times between 12:30a and 11:30a:
The minimum temperature used is from that day's observation
The maximum temperature and precipitation used is from the NEXT day's observation
Temperature values are computed and compared to the tenth degree in °C, then converted to °F. Precipitation is computed and compared to the hundredth of an inch.
Station Data
Station results are returned in °F for temperature, and inches for precipitation. Data percentage is the total number of daily observations that existed in the time period. Any codes that follow this percentage reflect:

Streaks and Threshold Perspectives https://sercc.oasis.unc.edu/ThresholdsDescription Threshold Perspectives: The number of days that meet a given threshold for a period are displayed. These values are also ranked versus the same station's history for each period. The difference in the period and historical averages for the threshold is also shown. Streak Perspectives: The number of consecutive days that meet a given threshold for a period are displayed. These values are also ranked versus the same station's history for each period. The difference in the period and historical averages for the threshold is also shown.

Temperature thresholds are computed and compared to the thousandth of a degree °C, then converted to °F. Precipitation thresholds are computed and compared to the hundredth of an inch. As of May 13, 2015 the threshold 85F was added. This will not be available for dates before this time period. Station Requirements
20+ years of parameter data for each station
75% of each year's data for each period must exist for ranking
