Hey There
Alright. So what is this thing?
It's an anon meme. Quick explanation: people post prompts in fandom X, and other people fill them. Most people remain anonymous, but it is not mandatory (I mention this, because I've seen people complaining about not!anons on other anon memes), hence the name.
This community is going to be a little bit different. It isn't going to have a specific fandom, instead, as the name implies, it's going to be for small fandoms. Here a small fandom is going to be defined as 'any fandom that does not have it's own anon/kink meme'. The actual size of the fandom is irrelevant, but I think that once a fandom gets to a certain point, someone generally makes a meme.
So, how is this going to work. If you want to make a prompt for a fandom, say Harry Potter (you wouldn't be doing that here, but this is for example's sake), you would come to the request post and say something along the lines of, 'We don't have a page for Harry Potter yet, and I'd like to prompt [insert HP prompt here].' Soon, I would come along and make an entry, under which all Harry Potter prompts would go.
There are also going to be a few rules. Actually, there's going to be one rule:
1. Don't be a jerk.
However, since I've found that anonymity can make some people lose their perspective on jerk-dom, these are a few things to remind you of the definition.
1. Not warning for triggers. Making someone go through a panic attack because you were too lazy to take three seconds to write 'Trigger Warning: [Insert trigger here]' in the title of your comment, is definitely jerk behavior. And not only is it seriously not cool, if you do it in a prompt, it will be deleted without warning. If you do it in a fill, I will give you a 24 hour warning before deleting it (the warning is because I am aware that some people don't save their fills anywhere else, which is inadvisable). If you aren't sure whether something is a trigger, either err on the side of caution, or ask in the help thread. It you don't know what a trigger is, this page is a good place to start.
2. Character bashing. This isn't the same as asking for an evil!fic, or a fic where one character is in conflict with another. Use your judgement, but if in doubt, PM me or leave a comment on the 'Help' post. I'll be happy to help.
3. No personal attacks. Do I need to elaborate?
4. No prompt bashing. Your kink is not my kink.
This list may be extended, if I run into any specific problems.
Now that all that's out of the way, let the prompting begin!
