Since 1996, TAF has been committed to bringing an accessible STEM model to students from all walks of life.
Now, we’re building on that foundation. TransformED places students at the center, cultivating a network of educators, parents, and community members to shift education’s center of gravity.
Drastic funding cuts. The rise of generative AI. Continued reliance on standardized testing. The very foundation of public education has been shifted — and many students are not prepared for future.
Public education primarily measures student learning through standardized tests, but these assessments often overlook cultural and developmental factors. This creates a contradiction: educators are expected to personalize learning, while students are evaluated using highly standardized methods.
The impact is significant, as test scores influence funding, staffing, and curriculum decisions, often narrowing instruction. Schools largely focus on teaching and assessing academic content knowledge, typically through isolated subjects and a single annual test.
Students deserve learning where educators are supported and guided to create dynamic and tailored curriculum. That’s why TransformED exists, so schools can create equitable classrooms that center students’ interests, goals, and aspirations.

Our partnerships are founded in strong relationships where we co-create strategy, and stay for the long haul. By staying for five years, we make sure transformation is sustainable.
Before anything happens within a school, we meet the leadership team and educators to learn more about their school, hire coaches with the community, and have school staff visit STEMbyTAF schools to get a sense of what implementation may look like.
We strategize with school districts to assess their needs, provide professional development opportunities for educators, develop clear goals, and build out an implementation plan.
Over a long-term with constant conversations, we put our strategy into action, implementing the customized work plan created in tandem with the school, provide professional development for teachers, and conduct quarterly reports and assessments to track progress.
At TAF, we see teachers as life-long learning colleagues. That’s why every educator we work with partners with a Transformation coach to offer opportunities for support, collaboration, and experimentation.
Whether you support a whole classroom, or just one student, you give school districts the pathways they need to expand beyond their universe. For just $360 per year, per student you help jumpstart the orbits of change for every student. You help create a ripple effect that changes the wavelengths of our future, which will be stewarded by confident, dynamic leaders.
