As a healer, a lot of the events that we are facing right now is highlighted in the book. Thank you for creating such a novel and I cannot wait to dig into the chapters and explore what is coming.

When I was asked to do a review for this book, it would be a vast understatement to say I was honored. Lali is such a beacon of light in the writing community and in the world that it is my absolute pleasure to sing her praises.

The De-Coding of Jo: Hall of Ignorance is wholly original, different from anything I’ve ever read, yet at the same time familiar and welcoming. There is a wisdom, a power, in Love’s words the likes of which I have never seen before. She awakens in you a renaissance of self, triggered by love and healing and acceptance.

With impeccable prose, a ravishing plot, and bewitching concepts, Love articulates a mesmerizing, incandescent world. She does a brilliant job of blending the scientific and the spiritual, the mathematical and the magical, in a beautiful, balanced whole. This book is fulfilling on so many levels. The writing is poetry. The message is powerful, resonant. The characters are rich, vivid souls clawing their way out of the dark. The story inspires us to be more than we are, to light the world, to erase our shadows with our truth. In a word, it’s spellbinding.

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community and as a sufferer of mental illness, I completely related to her beautiful, vulnerable cast. Love does an excellent job portraying her characters with such sensitivity and respect. There is a wonderful, passive diversity that is inclusive across the board. My only complaint is that I didn’t have this book when I was a teenager. I have no doubt it will fast become a hallmark of YA queer literature.

What a mystical, captivating and uplifting book!

The De-Coding of Jo: Hall of Ignorance by Lali A. Love is definitely one of the books our teenagers need to read the most.

It undoubtedly deals with the majority of teens issues namely drugs, harassment, bullying, gender identity, depression...Lali A. Love sheds light on the power of love to overcome darkness and all challenges. After all, love conquers all.

I particularly loved the main character, Jo who remained loyal and brave in saving her friends and the world from darkness and threatening parasites. I found in her spiritual ascension an inspiration for us readers to incarnate the best version of ourselves.

The author’s unique poetic style of writing threw in a touch of magic of the incredible story.

Plus, the combination of metaphysics, science and spirituality draws us to know more about the mysteries of our universe.

I also love Lali A. Love's reminder of the importance of music and the vibrations it emits.

I highly recommend this incredible book, to all teens, adults and fantasy lovers in general.

This is a stunning read! “The De-Coding of Jo: Hall of Ignorance” is a book written by Lali A. Love. The title is really good, because it is mysterious and it makes you want to find out what it really means. Part fantasy thriller, part drama and part sci-fi story, this novel has all the spicy ingredients that make it the perfect partner for an afternoon in this quarantine period.

The story is narrated in the third person and it is about a girl called Jo, who has to achieve an important mission: with the help of her friends she has to prevent the Darkness from enslaving all of humanity into obscurity. One of the best thingS about the book is that the characters are so interesting that I couldn't stop reading about them.

This book is divided into thirteen chapters; one is better than the last one. The bit I found most interesting and thought-provoking is the original idea of the plot.

All in all, I would gladly recommend you all, no matter what age you are, to read this amazing book. You will have a great time! Enjoy it!

Canadian author Lali A. Lali A. Love invites us to experiment in a fantasy world. When I say fantasy, I mean that in this novel there are alternative worlds that are governed by their own laws and where characters with supernatural abilities appear, but they are real people with real problems. Without neglecting the essence of the book, current issues on sexuality, the empowerment of women, the conflicts of relationships between adolescents and the diversity of genders are discussed.

The thoughtful language, heartbreaking descriptions, and depth of the characters keep this book moving at a pace that grabs you. The vocabulary that is used is very worked, it shows as you turn the pages.

The author offers us a wide cast of characters. Jo, the protagonist, is a strong but tormented girl, it was very easy for me to empathize with her. The secondary characters have a fundamental role. Their active and dynamic personalities make us be very attentive to their actions, waiting to see how they tip the balance.

The first twist of the plot made me open my senses more, be more attentive to reading, and trying to read between the lines. And before I knew it, the novel was over. I think that's what makes a really good book . Not perceiving the passing of time.

This book amazed me from beginning to the end. The De-Coding of Jo: Hall of Ignorance is an amazing story. It's original and daring, with a perfect combination of paranormal fantasy and science fiction. I definitely recommend it.
