One thing I think we really need to understand and internalize is that, when critics are evaluating games, just as when critics are evaluating films, how many people worked on it, how hard they worked, etc., should not be a factor. We're discussing art, not grading on effort. 1/2

A great many bad films are still the work of hundreds of skilled craftspeople and artisans who should be proud of the work they did. The same is true of games. If I give a game a negative review, I'm never saying that all the people who worked on it didn't do admirable work.
