I am grateful for survivors like @ParisHilton who are using their platform and voice to bring attention to an industry that desperately needs reform. As a state, we will take the necessary steps to increase transparency and safety to prevent further abuse.

COVID-19 deaths are spiking. Please consider getting vaccinated. President Nelson said it best when he referred to the vaccine as a "literal godsend." Since January, those who were unvaccinated account for 98.5% of all deaths and about 95% of all hospitalizations in Utah.

Wendy and I were vaccinated today against COVID-19. We are thankful for the countless individuals who performed the work required to make this possible. We have prayed for this literal godsend. Receiving the vaccine is part of our personal efforts to be good global citizens.

I had the unique opportunity to meet Bi-khim Hsiao, Taiwan’s Representative to the United States, for lunch today. Taiwan has a significant trade relationship with the state of Utah. I was very impressed.

Stop with the political wedge issues. We are better than this in Utah! We have far too many real issues to work on. 1- Education, 2- Insane growth, 3- Affordable housing, 4. Extreme drought. Cool, you got on TV buts let’s work together. My voters elected me to get things done.

I couldn’t be more excited the House passed SB127 tonight. Reform to the trouble teen industry in Utah is long overdue. Thank you to Rep. Brammer and all those who have advocated for these important reforms. Thank you @ParisHilton for bringing attention to this critical issue.

In the past I have criticized the Salt Lake Tribune for their photos and captions. The Tribune nailed this one. I’m still scratching my head. We have a serious problem, but for the life of me I couldn’t figure out what it actually was from the testimony.

My daughter joined me on Capitol Hill today. She is a huge fan of Nathan Chen. When she heard Nathan would be recognized, she asked to join me. I’m grateful for positive role models like Nathan Chen that both my daughter and I can look up to.
