The Lion's hamlet was part of the Waterloo battlefield where French and English troops fought on June 15, 1815.

From a little stream in the Fagnes, the Hoëgne river turns into a wild, majestic yet romantic river... as you will discover along this 11 km, signed walk following its fascinating meanders. 

This very varied (but tiring) walk links the Ninglinspo and Chefna rivers. The layout of the route along the Ninglinspo, on rocks and small bridges, is a true adventure. The 13 km trail can be completed in 4h30.
