What is interesting to me right now and hitting my table?
Right now it is the prep and play of Apocalypse World: Burned Over and Crown of Doskvol, a Blades in the Dark Duet campaign.

I have been looking for a way to play BitD in a Duet Game and got the idea of a character going into Iron Hook in the timeline of the original book and coming out when the Deep Cuts material and setting changes had come to Doskvol. This has also been a fun excuse for me and Sean to take the Deep Cuts houserules out for a spin.
The Pitch: You walk out of Ironhook in the suit you got arrested in, your old crew is spread hither and yon all over Doskvol’s factions. Your starting situation is a Crew sheet. The thing you know walking out alone is that you cannot survive alone in Doskvol.
Another way to say it:
What if someone went into Ironhook for a decade and when they came out, all of the Deep Cuts factions and tech advances were in play?

Thursday Night AWBO is our current campaign of Apocalypse World: Burned Over. So far the campaign is moving like a V8 Interceptor with a bolted on Flux Capacitor ripped from a rusted out Delorean found crashed into the upper floors of a space elevator…

An ancient swords and sorcery city with the serials numbers BARELY filed off.

You walk out of Ironhook in the suit you got arrested in, your old crew is spread hither and yon all over Doskvol’s factions. Your starting situation is a Crew sheet. The thing you know walking out alone is that you cannot survive alone in Doskvol.

thinking about tabletop role-playing games, actual play, the Tools and techniques that make it all work.
