These little penguin egg holders are very cute and fun. I like that I can boil a dozen eggs at a time and then store them straight in the fridge in the penguins. My kids love them too. It makes breakfast time fun. They fit perfectly in a one and a half quart pot of water while boiling. The quality is very nice and sturdy. Handled the boiling water and the refrigerator well. This product is very easy to use the handle. Makes it easy to put your eggs in and then pull your eggs out. The handle is long enough and cool to the touch. I would highly recommend this cute little kitchen gadget. It’s also a great gift idea for anyone.

I am consistently looking for better ways to hard boil eggs. I first say the penguins because they are one of my favorite creatures. Then I looked at the closer to the description and realized how helpful the penguins would be when I put eggs into boiling water. I tend to fumble a lot in those situations. Try as I might, usually an egg cracks when added to boiling water. The penguins and eggs fit into my 1 qt. pan. What a treat it was to add and remove all the eggs at once. They stayed in the egg holder for the ice bath, and in the refrigerator.

Yes, it is cute. But it isn’t very practical. It is cumbersome to put in eggs and take them out. The parts are glued together. Don’t use it in a pressure cooker. We briefly used it to store hard cooked eggs, but it is now on a shelf.

This is such a great invention!  It makes boiling eggs so easy and fun.  I pop the eggs in, place them all at once in the water, and remove them with a potholder when finished boiling.

FUNCTIONALITY:

-You need to be careful putting the eggs in the penguin wings.  They are easy enough to spread, but I wouldn't try popping them in.  I think they are strong enough that you could crack an egg.

-I didn't need this, but it makes boiling eggs more fun and easier.  It is safer than trying to gently put the eggs in the pan one at a time.  It is certainly easier to remove them.

-It fits in a pan capable of boiling 6 eggs at one time perfectly, with room to spare.  My lid was only slightly cocked to the side which is fine by me.  The handle stuck up out of the water and was easy to remove with a silicone potholder.

-My favorite aspect was being able to lift it straight out of the boiling water and directly into a cold-water bath.  You MUST cool them down before trying to get them out of the holder.

CUTENESS:

-I'm not a penguin fan per se, but this is just too cute.  

VALUE:

-This kitchen gadget is worth the money in my opinion.  It makes boiling eggs more fun and easier.

I have a ridiculous amount of kitchen gadgets. It’s a problem. Maybe an addiction? Well this adorable and practical egg holder makes me happier than it probably should!

It fit large eggs perfectly. Very stable in boiling water. No issue moving it from boiling to ice bath. Easy to remove cooked eggs and peel.

And who doesn’t need 6 miniature penguins in their cabinet? Life is short. Do what makes you happy. Especially if it’s buying cute kitchen gadgets like this.

Exactly what I wanted. I hate it when my eggs Crack while boiling them and this helps to prevent that every time. Definitely worth the money and its super cute

Qu'attendre plus d'un ustensile de cuisine qu'il soit utile ? Qu'il soit drôle ! Le porte œufs pingouins il fallait y penser et c'est désormais chose faite. Pratique avec sa tirette pour éviter qu'on ne se brûle, il permet de garder les œufs ensemble le temps qu'ils refroidissent et de les reconnaitre dans le frigo
