    Wow—this thing really works! I first spotted it on a late-night TV ad and figured, “Why not?” I was tired of using heavy pots to keep meat submerged while defrosting. The Thaw Claw holds everything in place perfectly, and it speeds up the thawing process like magic. It fits my sink, grips securely, and now I use it all the time. Definitely one of those gadgets that earns its spot in the kitchen.

    I really like this to use to hold down any food you need to thaw. The only flaw is that when you put the food under the thaw claw, as the water is added to the sink and the food starts floating, one side of the thaw claw lifts up to a certain point. This requires you to fill the sink with more water to cover the food than you would if the claw did not lift

    This device is amazing. It’s simple. Does what it is supposed to do. One thing that you have to look out for is the suction cup not latching down while filling the sink. It is better to let the water fill up first then stick it down. After that your meat will be thawed out in no time. Great for last minute thawing if your frozen items.

    LOL This thing has been a life saver. I often forget to pull out frozen meat to thaw for dinner and have to quick thaw in hot water in the sink. Before I'd stack a pot full of water on top to hold it fully submerged. This little gadget suctions to the bottom of the sink and does exactly what it's advertised to do. We use it quite often in my house. I definitely buy this again and recommend it to everyone.

    I use this all the time ! It's so much better than trying to keep something on top of some frozen food while it bobs in the water ! I'd recommend this to anyone who defrosts stuff in the sink !
