THE AUTASTIC® FRAMEWORK

Guiding Neurodivergent Representation and Belonging

Grounded in lived experience, The Autastic Framework meets organizations that are stepping up to do better.

The Autastic Framework is:

  • An approach that informs individual consultations, client strategy, community spaces, and more.
  • Built around flexibility, reflection, trauma-awareness, and the real lives of neurodivergent people.
  • Scaleable to serve organizations of all sizes, regions, and industries.
  • Informed by research that centers autistic perspectives and the ways systems affect everyday life.
  • Shaped by the embodied experience and insight of communities navigating systems that often exclude the talents, skills, and perspectives needed most.
  • Designed to help people and organizations move toward practices that are honest, practical, respectful, and sustainable.
  • Guided by disability justice principles with an emphasis on shared power and meaningful access.
  • Proven in messaging, media, workplace culture, and peer support applications.

Guiding Principles

The Autastic® Framework Is All In On:

Representation rooted in lived experience instead of stereotypes or tropes.

Language that respects, affirms, and reflects neurodivergent experience—without diminishing or distorting it.

Visual and narrative elements that honor presence, not performance.

Internal work that deepens awareness, voice, and intention.

Practices that prioritize access, belonging, and sustainable inclusion.

Decisions shaped by integrity, interdependence, and long-term impact.

Ever wonder?

What might life, work, public spaces, and social life be like if everyone were truly included?

Why A Framework?

Efforts to accept, represent, and include autistic, ADHD, and other neurodivergent people often flatten us to stereotypes, spectacle, or a single narrative.

This approach exists to liberate and center the very real lives lived by friends, partners, relatives employees, and co-workers in glorious variety, across cultures and throughout the spectrum. Freedom for us leads to freedom for all.

Belonging means more than being included. It means being celebrated for who we are, as we are, where we are. That’s when we, as people, can shine.
