Feintool has inaugurated its first production facility in India in Pune. The site is ramping up production to meet initial customer orders, with a focus on fineblanked automotive components.
Feintool operates 18 production sites across Asia, Europe and the United States. Its manufacturing portfolio includes large-series production of precision components using fineblanking, cold forming and e-lamination stamping.
India is the world’s third-largest automotive market and continues to grow. The country is also becoming more important as an export hub, and several of Feintool’s automotive customers are expanding their operations there and need local supplier support.
The Pune site reflects Feintool’s local-for-local approach and its focus on serving customer and market requirements in India.
