Looking for a chart of every type’s strengths and weaknesses in Evomon? As you might expect, Evomon’s types work pretty similarly to Pokemon’s. There are, however, a few missing types, which means things won’t be quite what you’re used to if you’re a pro Pokemon trainer.

On the other hand, if you haven’t played a Pokemon game before, it's crucial to note that every type has its own strengths and weaknesses. If you’re battling as the Fire-type Empixy, for example, you’ll be stronger against Grass, Bug, Ice, and Steel-type Evomon, but you’ll have to watch out for Water, Rock, and Ground types. No need to figure out these matchups yourself, though - we’ve done the hard work for you by putting together this handy Evomon type chart.

How do types work in Evomon?

Types in Evomon work identically to the system in Pokemon. Every Evomon will belong to a certain elemental type. These elements will either be strong or weak against other elements. If your element is strong against your opponent’s type, you'll inflict a Super Effective hit when using an attack that harnesses that element, doing huge damage.

Some of these make a lot of sense. Water beats Fire. Fire beats Ice. That all functions as you'd imagine. Others are a little more obscure. For example, Fighting beats Steel, and Psychic beats Fighting. Either way, you can keep the chart above on hand to ensure you always know what the weakness of your opponent is, allowing you to counter appropriately.
