Experience

Liv grew up in Denver, CO where she struggled to breathe and bake at altitude. She left the Mile High City to earn a BA from Washington University in St. Louis, an MA from the University of Southern California, and a Diplôme de Cuisine from Le Cordon Bleu London.

Liv dabbled in restaurant-focused public relations and spent time working in professional kitchens in Denver and Atlanta before finding her way to Food & Wine. She is now eating her way through LA and frequenting farmers markets all year long (gasp!).

Favorite Purchase:

My Vitamix blender is my best friend in the kitchen. I put it through its paces every day when I make my morning smoothies, and it hasn't failed me yet.
