Experience America is a series of events and activities offered to visiting scholars, their families, and graduate students with dependents to help them better understand the American culture. The program is designed to introduce participants to campus and the local community. Below is a list of events which we have regularly hosted through the years. The tentative schedule for the upcoming will be available in September on our Events page. Times and dates will become available as program plans are finalized. Registration is required for each session but most sessions are at no cost to participants. We hope to see you there!

Pitt Homecoming Football Game versus Bucknell Bison
The Office of International Services and The Vice Provost for Graduate Studies invite the Pitt International Community to Homecoming! Tickets will be available to purchase on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 for $15 and are for the Upper Sidelines section of the stadium. More details on how to purchase tickets will be announced. Tickets are limited to international graduate students, scholars, and families.
