Typical Rotterdam Questions
How does a Rembrandt van Wine night look like?
Hard to put the whole experience into words, but since you asked:
We invite you to arrive around 10 minutes before the start of the event, giving you some time to settle in and get comfortable before we start with the actual painting.
Once everyone is in our host & art instructor will give everyone a warm welcome, and just the right instructions to get you started.
Then, it is mainly just 2 hours of painting and having fun. While you get into the painting, our art instructor is walking around for personal painting advice and our host is walking around to top up your drink
Finally, there is some time to wander around yourself, look at the other creations, have a chat and take some photos before we say goodbye at the end of the 2 hours.
But you are not leaving empty handed, you of course get to take your creation home with you!
What is included in the price?
Everything you need for the paint and sip: Art supplies, canvas, art instructor, music, and a great amount of fun.
We also give you an apron to keep your outfit clean from paint.
Also, all drinks are on us.
Plus, you get to bring your canvas home afterwards!
Which language is spoken during the paint and sip Rotterdam events?
English and Dutch.
Most of our hosts and art instructors speak both languages (and more!) so will be perfectly fine helping you personally in your preferred language!
Do I need painting experience?
All levels are welcome at the Rembrandt van Wine painting sessions.
The art instructors are there to help you at every step along the way, no matter whether it is your first time or your name is Rembrandt and you want to focus on developing a specific painting technique.
However, it’s up to you to follow step-by-step instructions or let your own creativity lead you to freely paint away.
Can I join an event solo?
Yes, you should!
We even hold some spare tickets behind for cool people wanting to come solo, just send us a message and we will get it sorted (even when an event appears to be sold-out).
Rembrandt van Wine is all about having fun, getting out of your comfort zone, learning something new in a judgemental free environment. Riding solo is a big part of all that!
Can I make a group reservation?
Yes you can do this.
There are two options here, you can either buy as many tickets as your group needs for one of the events through our paint and sip event calendar.
We can also organize a private event just for you and your group. Fill in this form and we will reach out to you to organize something super fun together.
