Howdy, we're Marble Claws

We're a small team of queer creators making videogames. We made Lookouts, which also has a merch shop (currently closed but will be open again).

This blog is for us to post updates and announcements about Lookouts, as well as to show off all the amazing fanart people have made of our silly little videogame. You can see what we've reblogged all in one place in our fanart tag.

We also have asks open, so if you want to ask us any questions about Lookouts or its characters, please feel free. We love to hear from people about the game!

We might post something funny every so often too. No promises. You be the judge.

It's almost the end of pride month, and we've got a little (big) milestone to celebrate. Lookouts has reached one million views!

It's hard to truly wrap your head around such a big number. It's ticked up in the background of our lives while we've grown and made so many changes, living such different lives compared to the brief moment when that counter still read 0. Thank you doesn't begin to cover it. A million thank you's wouldn't cover it. We're so lucky that Lookouts still gets to be seen and enjoyed by new people every day, and that people make space in their lives for our art.

Happy Pride, fellow outlaws. Keep riding towards the future, and we'll see you there.

Straight from the UK! I've been obsessing over this game for the past two weeks and I can't get it out of my head.

I think I found this game at the right point in my life. I'm not sure who I am in terms of my gender. I know I'm not entirely cis but I haven't figure out if I'm trans or not. But there's something about these boys that just lodged themselves into my brain and my heart and I don't want them to ever get out. I want to look up more transmasc media, I think being able to see trans men portrayed in complex and human ways will be good for my soul. And I need to credit @marbleclaws for being the first to send me on that path.

I said it before, I'll say it again, I'll say it as often as I can; you should be so incredibly proud of making this story. The writing, the art, the music, all of it comes together to create such a masterpiece. I will be making all of my friends play this game lol

Thank you so much for the kind words. It's been so many years now that sometimes I take it for granted, but when I really take in how many people still talk about Lookouts and love it and are still discovering it and look at all the fanworks, it makes me pretty emotional!! We're very blessed for the game to have been found by people like you <3

Oh there's definitely people who are into him.

In the fiction, I imagine he picked up women wherever he went and dropped them as soon as he left the next town. Not sure if I'd say he had a trail of broken hearts as such, more like a trail of ladies of the night cursing his name forever when he refuses to pay up. Definitely banned from a few brothels.

An official discord is probably never going to happen, sorry. Running a server for even a small fanbase is actual work and we don't have the time or interest in taking on that responsibility as it stands. Sorry to disappoint!

Got my merch bundle in the post a few days ago and I'm so happy with it!! It's so awesome!!

It was weird seeing the return address being in the same city as me, I'm not used to stuff like this being so local. It's so fun!

Everything is so high quality and lovely to look at and feel, and I love the little drawing on the box it made me so happy :3

Lookouts' 4th Anniversary! Merch shop reopen, patch coming soon

Howdy everyone, been a bit! Happy trans day of visibility again, and happy 4th anniversary to Lookouts! We've got just a couple things for you folks (which is more than last year in fairness), so let's get to it.

Merch shop is now open again!

Sorry for the long wait on this one, we've had a few bumps in the road with new regulations and restocking and generally having busy lives, but it's back now! Everything is in stock besides the artbooks and the bundle (which includes an artbook), which are currently on preorder. Preorders are open till April 15th and we aim to ship by April 30th.
