
Every student attending the College will be required to complete several Service Learning involvement hours to graduate from our institution.
The Service Learning Program allows students to become more involved in their communities and develops a sense of social awareness and reasonability for communities and, by extension, Dominica. Service Learning allows students to cultivate much-needed skills and abilities, which build their confidence, communication skills, teamwork, and leadership. Through Service Learning, students get opportunities to network and develop professional relationships, increasing their ability to find work after College.
Students will ONLY be allowed to perform Service Learning hours with Organizations that have signed on to partner with the Dominica State College Service Learning Department.
