EtreCheckPro uses a system of emoji-based ratings to help describe complex aspects of system modifications. Each rating corresponds to a specific context. For example, software that is running normally should show a โhappyโ status. But if that software is malware, then it would be a โangryโ status.
Some aspects don't have a rating. These aspects are only informative, without any subjective value.
| ๐ | Excellent. Software is properly signed, running normally, and low-risk. |
| ๐ | Good. Software is properly signed, running normally, but could be better. |
| ๐ | Neutral. Software might be unsigned, running normally, and could cause problems. |
| ๐ | Unamused. Someone (maybe the developer or maybe the user) is trying something. This could be a problem. |
| ๐ | Confused. Something about this software doesnโt make sense. |
| ๐ | Disappointed. Software could have been done better. |
| โน๏ธ | Frowning. Something is not good. |
