EtreCheckPro uses a system of emoji-based ratings to help describe complex aspects of system modifications. Each rating corresponds to a specific context. For example, software that is running normally should show a “happy” status. But if that software is malware, then it would be a “angry” status.
Some aspects don't have a rating. These aspects are only informative, without any subjective value.
| 😀 | Excellent. Software is properly signed, running normally, and low-risk. |
| 🙂 | Good. Software is properly signed, running normally, but could be better. |
| 😐 | Neutral. Software might be unsigned, running normally, and could cause problems. |
| 😒 | Unamused. Someone (maybe the developer or maybe the user) is trying something. This could be a problem. |
| 😕 | Confused. Something about this software doesn’t make sense. |
| 😞 | Disappointed. Software could have been done better. |
| ☹️ | Frowning. Something is not good. |
| 😡 | Bad. Usually malware. |
