We’re making an important update to how you contact Slido support. This change will improve response times and provide added consistency to overall support coverage. What’s changing? Starting in early May 2026, our Contact us page will become the primary way to reach Slido support for any troubleshooting or account-related questions. This ensures your request is routed to the right team as quickly as possible. Emails sent to support@slido.com will no longer be used for handling support requests and will receive an automated response directing you to the Contact form. Why are we making this change? With Slido being part of Cisco, we’re now expanding how we deliver support by leveraging Cisco’s Technical Assistance Center (TAC). Cisco TAC will begin handling Slido product support tickets (such as how-to questions and troubleshooting), allowing us to tap into Cisco’s well-established global support organization. Submitting requests through the Contact form ensures your inquiry is properl

Do you have our mobile app installed on your phone? Here’s the important news: we’ll be sunsetting Slido’s mobile apps for iOS and Android on March 30, 2026. Don’t worry, as a participant, you can still interact with polls and ask questions in Slido through your desktop or mobile browser and video conferencing platforms. Our goal with the mobile app was to give you another easy way to join Slido. What’s happening next?In January, anyone accessing Slido via mobile app will see an in-app notification about this change. Users in mainland China have reported issues with Slido’s participant mode since mid-December.Since then, our team has investigated the situation in collaboration with our infrastructure host (AWS). We’ve confirmed that no recent configuration changes on our end could have caused this behavior – and it appears the root cause is related to a block from China’s mobile carriers. We have limited influence over the network environment in China, but we are doing everything within our power to address the issue alongside our AWS partners. It has been reported that most people are able to access Slido using company networks and that the issue is mostly related to local networks. While we explore on our side, it may also be beneficial to reach out to your mobile provider directly to request assistanceThe use of company networks is the best recommendation we can provide.

We released the Switcher app in 2017 with the goal of enhancing the presentation experience by allowing seamless switching between Slido and any presentation. Slido Switcher addressed the need for a smooth and uninterrupted way to display polls and Q&A during events – by using another device as a remote control. This innovation aimed to make it easier for presenters to engage with their audience without disrupting the flow of their presentations. With that being said and after careful consideration, we decided to discontinue the Slido Switcher app for the following reasons:Low usage: While we recognize the value it brought to regular users, the Switcher app was one of our lesser-used features. Continuing to support the Switcher app would go against our commitment to prov

June marks the halfway point of the year—a perfect time for fresh energy and new goals!
