What it does
Log in with Google and enter your birthday. You'll see over four thousands dots that represent each week. As you progress in life, color the fill in the current week and add a description as to what happened. Then and watch as you realize how colorful and diverse in experience your life can be.
How we built it
Built in Django, Deployed on Heroku. We did not realize it'd take 24-48 hours to update a DNS record so if lifepalette.online is not working then go to heroku.
Challenges we ran into
We initially wanted the domain to route to a compute engine on google cloud, but had troubles integrating the Django project with nginx or apache2. Again, we also didn't realize how long it would take to update a DNS record or what different types of DNS records meant.
What we learned
We learned a lot about domain names! We also learned a lot about Google Cloud/Compute Engine, even if we didn't end up utilizing it.
