Ilex opaca (American Holly) is a species of plants in the family Aquifoliaceae. They are native to The Contiguous United States, North America, Eastern North America, and United States. They have yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Brown-fovea Miner, Carlin's Andrena, Eastern Yellowjacket, and Carolina Miner Bee. Individuals can grow to 40 feet.
