Berber (Amharic, Tigrinya) cakuda ne na kayan yaji wanda abubuwan da ke tattare da shi yawanci sun haɗa da sili, Coriander, tafarnuwa, ginger, tsaba mai tsarki na Habasha (besobela), Korarima, rue, ajwain ko Radhuni, nigella, da fenugreek.[1][2] Yana da mahimmanci a cikin abincin Habasha da Eritrea. kuma yana nufin chili peppers kanta.[3]

Berbere wani lokacin yana kunshe da ganye da kayan yaji waɗanda ba a san su sosai a duniya ba. Wadannan sun hada da tsire-tsire da aka noma da wadanda ke girma a Habasha, kamar korarima (Aframomum corrorima). [4]
