Scholarly Communications

The Scholarly Communications team supports USF faculty and graduate student research productivity and enhances the impact of that effort across the global research landscape. To advance this mission, the Scholarly Communications team:
  • Builds open-access, high-impact digital research collections to drive the creation of new knowledge by strategically deploying emerging technology applications.
  • Advocates for author rights and promotes scholarly publishing literacy with curated resources on the Understanding Open Access guide
  • Partners with USF faculty and researchers to move their work through the various stages of the research lifecycle, build collections, and disseminate their research online.
  • Preserves long-term access to scholarly publications, primary source collections, and institutional history via the USF institutional repository.
Scholarly Communications support faculty research with a variety of services, including:
  • Open access and publishing support
  • Open online hosting of conferences, journals, textbooks, OERs, and research collections
  • Customized research profiles
  • DOI and ISBN registration
