  • Teamlyzer listed the best companies to work in crypto without leaving Portugal. Turns out, we made the cut. Rightfully so, if we do say so ourselves 😌 We're always open to receiving applications for an open position, apprenticeships, or spontaneous ones 👉 https://lnkd.in/dsPiNvpJ

  • Latin America is not a single regulatory market. It's three meaningfully different regimes, and the contrast matters operationally. The questions worth asking before you build aren't "is it legal?" Stablecoins are legal in all three markets. They're: do you have a local presence? Is your AML infrastructure day-one ready? Does your distribution architecture account for a settlement rail that's closing, a banking channel that isn't available, and on- and off-ramps that can only run through registered entities? This carousel breaks down the four things you need to get right before you build in LatAm, regardless of which market you enter first. • Coimbra was our last landing 🛬 Around 70 builders took over a city center space for a day, working, eating, networking, and sharing what they were building. Same format as always: we brought the space, the food, and the people. Everyone else brought the work. That’s what’s coming to Lisbon on July 22. • Every junior dev entering the market right now is navigating the same squeeze: AI does the easy tasks, seniors are swamped, and the classic mentorship pipeline is harder to access. This carousel is built around one idea from Rui Sousa's article on the Content Hub: the AI is your pocket Senior. Infinitely patient. Willing to explain every semicolon. The trap isn't the tool, but using it without thinking. Read the full piece → https://buff.ly/6vap88t #softwaredevelopment #juniordevs #ai #learning

  • Every Web3 project at Subvisual needed the same setup: an Anvil node, a block explorer, and a faucet. We kept rebuilding it from scratch. ethui Stacks solves that. One click gives you a persistent, cloud-based Anvil testnet — unique chain ID, authenticated RPC URL, connected explorer, mainnet fork if you want it. Share it with your team via URL. Your testnet survives machine restarts. All Anvil cheat codes work. Full case study → https://buff.ly/qMSno5K #ethereum #web3 #foundry #developertools #opensource

  • Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico: same region, but three meaningfully different regulatory regimes, and differences that matter operationally. 🇧🇷 Brazil has the most developed stack: SPSAV authorization required, 100% reserve backing in fiat or government securities, and algo stablecoins explicitly prohibited. Cross-border stablecoin settlement via eFX firms closes in October 2026. If your product is built on that rail, the architecture needs to change before Q4. 🇦🇷 Argentina is the most open. PSAV registration is live. Capital controls were lifted in April 2025. Banks still can't offer crypto directly (on/off-ramps run through registered PSAVs), but the regulatory posture is the most builder-friendly in the region. 🇲🇽 Mexico has the highest remittance potential ($60B+ annually, the world's second-largest market) and the most constrained path. There's no dedicated stablecoin licensing. Non-financial VASP status under AML obligations is the operating model. Latin America is not one market. Distribution architecture, local presence, and compliance infrastructure vary by country. Entering the region means choosing where you enter first and building from there. • The junior dev job market is under pressure. AI handles the simpler tasks, seniors are stretched thin, and the classic apprenticeship model, sitting with someone who knows the craft, is harder to find. Rui S., Developer at Subvisual, has been on both sides of this. A decade of career pivots, a Biochemistry degree, and a master's in bioinformatics later, he's writing about what actually got him through the valley of death. His answer: curiosity and a pocket Senior. AI isn't your replacement, but it's infinitely patient and willing to explain every semicolon until it clicks. The trap is accepting the output without questioning it. Read it on the Content Hub → https://lnkd.in/e_rzs5P4 #softwaredevelopment #juniordevs #ai #careerdevelopment

  • Starbase started in Lisbon. The idea was simple: give builders a space for a day, handle the food, and get out of the way. No agenda. No keynotes. Just room to work. People sit down, open their laptops, and get more done in five hours than they do in a week of remote calls. Then they eat. Then they do it again. We've run it in Braga. We've run it in Coimbra. We've gone international. On July 22, it lands in Lisbon again. Register here → http://luma.com/taf4khuj #starbase #web3 #buildinpublic #onchainlisbon
