Question

I’m not a developer, but I’ve been using AI a lot.
I mostly use Gemini for Google Docs and Sheets, ChatGPT for brainstorming, and recently Claude helped me build a Google Apps Script to automate the management of one of my rental properties. It worked surprisingly well, and now I’d like to go one step further.
I’d love to turn this into a real app instead of relying on a Google Sheet.
The problem is… I have no idea where to start.
Should I learn a no-code tool? If so, which ones are beginner-friendly and have a free tier? Should I use something like Claude Code, Cursor, or another AI coding tool? Or is there a completely different path that makes more sense for someone starting from scratch?
I’m not looking to become a software engineer. I just want to learn the most practical way to turn my ideas into working apps with the help of AI.
I’d really appreciate any recommendations or advice from people who started from zero.
Thanks for your time and help please.
