Hi there. How are you all. I feel happy to see myself in this community. I have been Slide user for since more than 2 or 3 years. Even before the time where Reddit started charging money for its API. At that time you all knew that Slide was saved by Revanced where you can enter the app id and uri ,at the time of patching the Slide app through Revanced. I hate to say that i am still using a Android 9 device which was Redmi note 5 Pro for so many years! Been surviving life so poorly. I remember some random guy build an unofficial Slide where you can enter and save your Client Id and redirect URI without patching the app with revanced. I never thought i would search for this app to make the Slide work for my particular Android version. I downloaded, entered the Client ID and redirect URI from RedReaders credentials but still it fails to login my account. It just displays {} after entering my login credentials. This app doesn't have the option to enter other details other than Client ID and Redirect URI, if I'm missing anything here. Although it shows r all content which is surprising. The Play store version doesn't support the older Android version. I request you guys to help provide any solution. It would be great if the dev gives support to Android 9 devices or if there's any thing that can be done within the app.
If I want to scroll back up a little on my S7 Tablet, the content jumps around making it trickier to find the actual item that I wanted to look at. Is there a setting somewhere that stops this from happening? V 7.5.8
If your comments have not been working for the past few days you need to follow these steps:

Close the app. Like fully close it, from android settings, apps, force stop for Slide.

Delete all the app data, this will restore the app to a fresh install

Uninstall and install the app again from the playstore

Now we need to find a new app id, to do that we're going to download the app "RedReader" from the playstore, login with your account and then you'll receive an email from reddit that should say something like this:

App Name: RedReader (Release) App ID: yH0aTnJEt6xxxxxxxx

You need to save the app id, so copy that to the clipboard and feel free to uninstall "RedReader"

Open Slide, it'll ask for the app id, paste the one previously copied. Then login into your account.
