Preserving Rover & Honda’s Legendary Cars Accordingly!
The Club caters worldwide for all derivatives of the Rover 600, Rover 800, Sterling (US) and their Honda counterparts: the European Mk5 Honda Accord Saloon (CC7/CE7/CE8/CE9) and the Mk1 Honda/Acura Legend (KA1-KA6). Owners and avid enthusiasts of these models are welcome to join the Club.
As owners, enthusiasts and members of the Club, it is our wish to conserve these beautiful luxury and sports vehicles for our own enjoyment and for future owners. We aim to achieve this by continuing to expand our array of remanufactured parts, repair services & technical articles and through widespread promotion of our cars at events & online to generate greater interest from young enthusiasts. Traditional Owners’ Clubs are extremely important in preserving cars and ensuring their long-term future by building up reserves to fund the high development costs and minimum order quantities that would otherwise make remanufacture of crucial & MOT failure parts prohibitive. This is something that cannot be achieved by free social media Owners’ groups. Our remanufacturing efforts are distributed according to the models owned by members, so by joining the Club you are directly supporting the future of YOUR car. With well over 375 current members (including 50+ not from the UK), the Club has never been in a better position to secure the future of our cars. The 600 turned 30 in 2023 and 40 years of the 800 is being celebrated this year (2026)! Both are now a rare sight on our roads and are generally only seen at classic car shows. Fortunately, enthusiasm for these models is on the rise with increasingly more interest being shown in our cars at shows and unprecedented engagement on social media in recent times. We hope to be able to increase promotion for their Honda siblings too. 2026 is also the 30th anniversary of the CE7-9 Accord.
