Thrilled to announce Inertia 2.0 is now stable and released!
Thank you to everyone who provided feedback while we were in beta, we are so excited about this next phase of @inertiajs and there is even more to come.
Shoutout to the 🐐 @reinink for such an incredible library.
⏩
We took the @inertiajs infinite scroll component for 2.0 and turbo boosted it:
- ⬆️ Reverse infinite scroll
- 👬 Multiple infinite scroll components on the same page
- 🔃 *Two way* infinite scroll
- 🔗 Syncing page state in URL
- 🖱️ Manual mode after X requests
🚀👨🚀
In Inertia 2.0, we added some great primitives to make infinite scrolling really easy, such as prop merging and the WhenVisible component.
I was working on the docs this morning and I thought... let's make this *really* easy. So I whipped this up.
Still WIP, still exciting. ⏩
We just passed 100k installations in just under 90 days since releasing the official @laravelphp VS Code extension 🚀
Thanks to everyone for their feedback and PRs, there's so much more to come 🤙
I've let the Laravel team loose on the new VS Code extension for early internal testing.
Initial favorites seem to be the linking (my personal fav, feels like I'm just flying around the codebase) and test runner.
I'll keep y'all posted when we move to external testing. 👌
It seems like everyone is excited about the new Laravel VS Code extension! I know I am.
Our focus right now is getting Inertia 2.0 out the door, after which we'll shift over to the extension and put the pedal to the metal.
Aiming for a November release 👍🚀
We crushed a ton of @inertiajs PRs the past couple of weeks and some great stuff got shipped.
A few highlights:
⛵ Laravel Wayfinder integration
The `form.submit` method and the `Link` component now accept Wayfinder-shaped objects.
