We joined @NYCMayor to announce Block by Block — a plan to tackle the housing crisis and ensure everyone can afford to say, grow and thrive in NYC. We'll plan with communities to fix outdated zoning, create more homes near transit & use new tools to get affordable housing built.

We've got bad blood with Robert Moses and we've made a lot of progress to improve NYC's zoning, but we're not out of the woods yet. That's why we're chasing our wildest dreams in #CityOfYes to shake exclusionary zoning off and say once and for all: welcome to New York.

And last but not least, we'll ensure New York City's space is put to use for people, not for cars, by ending parking mandates for new housing across the entire city.

Across NYC, there are modest apartment buildings that are IMPOSSIBLE to build today because of restrictive zoning. That doesn’t make sense – especially during a massive housing shortage! With #CityOfYes, we can bring these buildings back and help bring housing costs down.
