- When I was looking out for jobs. I always used to send cold emails by scheduling them at 8:00AM in the morning. This was to make sure as soon as the person opens the inbox in the morning, my email should come on the top. A pretty good hack and it used to work.statistically, sending a cold dm/email in the morning of weekdays is more likely to get a response. but why? see the comment below.
- Replying to @shydev69Right thing here: The teacher told about the importance of learning English. Wrong thing here: The college idolizes TCS.
- We sent out a small assignment to all the candidates a few days ago for hiring at Referrush. It was not a random assignment, an actual feature that the new hire had to work on after joining the org. Result: Not many submissions, the guy who did is working with us now.
- Replying to @striver_79The main reason I think is students in the US are more hackathon-centric and building projects. I haven't seen many people grinding questions on @LeetCode or @codeforces.
- I don't think so, in fact looking at the current scenario of Indian devs/techies on YT,@kirat_tw is the most authentic one. Remaining POV down below in the thread ( not a premium user ) :either you die a hero or live long enough to become a villain.
- I've been building in public and posting about actual engg things here on @X for the last 4 months. Didn't get much traction from this. But, I posted about joining a very cool startup as a s/w engg and I got 13k impressions. People only care about ur wins, So you have to WIN!
- Replying to @archiexzzzMost people will still choose option 1 bcuz they want to be in their comfort zone. Majority have never shipped something good in their clg lives. Relied on @LeetCode just to cross that barrier of placement, and the next time they'll start upskilling is when they need a switch.
- Replying to @ThakurAbhay342ESOP/RSU percentage batao isme, half information is very dangerous!
