Katie studied Biomedical Sciences before moving into medical communications and medical education, translating medical research into content for healthcare professionals. After being made redundant, she reached a crossroads: continue with the career she'd spent 10 years building, or take the opportunity to try something completely different. She chose the latter and made the leap into software development.
