On Hebbia's Financial Services Benchmark, Anthropic's Fable 5 scored higher than any other frontier model, with substantial gains in document-based reasoning, chart and table interpretation, and problem solving.
Introducing Claude Fable 5: a Mythos-class model that we've made safe for general use. Its capabilities exceed those of any model we've ever made generally available. Fable 5 is state-of-the-art on nearly all tested benchmarks, with exceptional performance in software engineering, knowledge work, scientific research, and vision. The longer and more complex the task, the larger Fable 5’s lead over our other models. Releasing a model this capable comes with risks. Without safeguards, Fable 5's capabilities in areas like cybersecurity could be misused to cause serious damage. Queries on a narrow range of topics, related to cybersecurity, biology and chemistry, and distillation, will instead receive a response from our next-most-capable model, Claude Opus 4.8. Users are informed whenever a fallback occurs, on average in less than 5% of sessions, and performance everywhere else is unaffected. We'll keep refining the safeguards to reduce false positives. For a small group of cyber defenders and critical infrastructure providers, we're also launching Claude Mythos 5: the same underlying model as Fable 5, but with the safeguards lifted in some areas. Soon, we intend to expand access through a broader trusted access program, for both defensive cybersecurity work and biomedical research. Claude Fable 5 is available everywhere today. Claude Mythos 5 is restricted to Glasswing partners and select biology researchers until the trusted access program is available. Read more: https://lnkd.in/eQKKjNsS

Hebbia is now available as a plugin in OpenAI Codex. Finance professionals can use context from Hebbia in Codex workflows allowing you to build faster without switching tools or losing the information and accuracy you rely on.
We're introducing new ways to do more of your work with Codex. More than 5 million people now use Codex every week. Non-developers - including analysts, marketers, operators, designers, researchers, investors, and bankers - now make up about 20% of overall Codex users and are growing more than 3x as fast as developers. Codex now includes role-specific plugins that adapt it to your tools and workflows, annotations that help you refine results in place, and a preview of Sites, which turn work into hosted interactive websites and apps that teams can share. We're launching six role-specific plugins for data analytics, creative production, sales, product design, public equity investing, and investment banking. Together, they include 62 popular apps and 110 skills. Learn more at the link in the comments below.

As our CTO Aabhas Sharma puts it: Claude Opus 4.8 delivers stronger citation accuracy and better token efficiency across financial workflows.
We’re upgrading Claude Opus to a new version: Claude Opus 4.8. It builds on Opus 4.7 with sharper judgment, more honesty about its own progress, and the ability to work independently for longer than its predecessors. Available today for the same price. In Claude Code, you can hand off a feature, a migration, or a bug sweep and let it follow the work through while you focus on what’s next. Also launching today: - Fast mode for Opus 4.8 (research preview). Same model at roughly 2.5x the speed, now three times cheaper than before. - Dynamic workflows in Claude Code (research preview). Claude runs hundreds of parallel subagents in a single session and verifies its work before reporting back. - A new effort control on claude.ai, so you can choose how much thinking Claude puts into a response. Claude Opus 4.8 is live today on claude.ai, the Claude Platform, and all major cloud platforms. Read more: https://lnkd.in/ecgSNpAF
