A customer tried to book her move for July 1. It was late May. We had to tell her no. Not because we were booked up. Because our calendar only opened 30 days out, and her date sat just past the edge. She'd signed her lease. She knew exactly when she was moving. The one thing she wanted to cross off her list, she couldn't. That never sat right with us. So we fixed it. Starting today, you can book a Lugg up to 60 days out, double the old window. Same price whether you book today or two months from now. Works for every vehicle, every job type. Big news: Lugg is back in the running for Best Moving Company in NYC. We've held the title for the last two years, thanks to the customers trusting us, the Luggers showing up, and the partners building with us. We're going for three. Moving in NYC is its own sport. More than half the city doesn't own a car, the buildings have their own elevator rules, and parking a truck is a different kind of nightmare. Lugg shows up anyway. Voting opens daily through August 21st. If Lugg has ever helped you (or anyone in your life) snag a Marketplace pickup, get a furniture delivery to your door, or just make moving in NYC easier, we'd love your vote. 🗳️ Vote here: https://lnkd.in/grPyBBsd #NYC #MovingCompany #BestOfNYC #SameDayDelivery #FurnitureDelivery #Lugg

A customer buying a sectional today expects it delivered today. Most furniture retailers can't offer that. Building the infrastructure for local same-day delivery takes years and millions. The companies pulling ahead skipped the build. They plugged into a platform that already runs same-day delivery, in-home placement, real-time tracking, and the customer experience that the rest of retail is still chasing. Lugg is the platform. Why spend time building what you can partner for today? #LastMileDelivery #SameDayDelivery #FurnitureRetail #RetailPartnerships #Lugg

Storage operators are betting on customer experience as a differentiator in 2026. The ones already pulling ahead made a more specific bet: solve the move-in moment. Lugg is the same-day moving partner backing that strategy. A bad move-in experience is the fastest way to lose a tenant operators just paid to acquire. The operators who already integrated have proof. The rest have hypotheses. What's your move-in strategy? #SelfStorage #StorageOperators #AncillaryRevenue #CustomerExperience #Lugg

Furniture customers have been trained to expect same-day delivery by companies that spent billions earning the right to offer it. Retailers competing without that infrastructure are competing on a field they didn't build. Here's what the retailers competing successfully on same-day actually figured out: they didn't try to match Amazon's infrastructure. They borrowed it. They plug into an on-demand network of vetted moving crews. Same-day arrival, in-home placement, real-time tracking, direct contact with the crew, all available to retailers who don't own a single truck. Lugg is that network. The retailers who've tried generic third-party logistics and gotten burned use Lugg because it was built specifically for retail: 1.5 million moves across 4,000+ U.S. cities, crews trained to treat the delivery as part of the retailer's brand, and vehicles for anything from a chair to a full bedroom. Whether the retailer wants to offer Lugg at the counter with custom QR-coded materials, in their digital customer flow with an embedded booking link, or built directly into checkout through an API integration, there's a path that fits the way they already sell. Same-day delivery isn't a budget question anymore. It's a partnership question. #FurnitureRetail #LastMileDelivery #SameDayDelivery #RetailPartnerships #Lugg

Multifamily retention isn't won at lease renewal. It's won in the dozens of small moments between move-in and renewal where a resident needs help and doesn't know who to call. The properties pulling ahead aren't doing more for residents. They're anticipating more for residents. A vetted moving partner ready for move-in day. A vetted moving partner ready for the heavy package, the new rug, the furniture rearrangement. The resident never had to scramble or ask. The property already had it covered. Lugg is the partner properties are bringing in for exactly that. Residents get a vetted, background-checked moving crew they can book on demand, from move-in day to every "I need help with something heavy" moment after. The property earns ancillary revenue when referred residents book a move, without touching the logistics. Residents stay where they feel supported before they have to ask. #Multifamily #ResidentExperience #PropertyManagement #ResidentRetention #Lugg

The self-storage retention conversation has a blind spot: you can't retain a tenant who never finished moving in. The reservation is digital. The lease is digital. Gate access is mobile. The physical move-in is still analog, and it's where the funnel quietly leaks. Self-storage tenants are now staying 18 to 19 months on average, up from 9 to 14 a decade ago. Every tenant lost at the move-in stage is worth more than they used to be. The operators closing that gap aren't doing it by adding headcount or asking general managers to help tenants carry boxes. They're treating it as a partnership problem: a same-day moving service tenants book themselves, without involving the facility's team. Lugg fits that model. A tenant who realizes their SUV isn't going to cut it can book a same-day Lugg crew through a flyer at the front desk, a link in the post-lease email, or a deeper integration with the operator's reservation flow. Background-checked crews arrive in as little as 30 minutes. Every booking includes the Damage Protection Guarantee, with up to $10,000 in coverage on eligible claims, filed through Lugg directly. Every tenant you lose at the move-in is one you already paid to acquire. The math on letting that gap stay open gets worse every quarter. #SelfStorage #StorageIndustry #TenantRetention #CustomerExperience #Lugg

The next decade of furniture retail is being won at the customer's front door, not on the website. Customer expectations have shifted faster than retail logistics infrastructure. The wow-moment that closes the sale or kills it isn't on the product page anymore. It's the 10 minutes when a stranger walks into someone's home carrying their new couch. Here's the catch: most retailers have outsourced their way out of those 10 minutes entirely. The package gets dropped at the curb. The customer wrestles the sectional inside. The retailer who designed the entire upstream experience, the showroom, the website, the marketing, the financing, has no presence in the moment that actually decides the customer's verdict. Retailers winning those 10 minutes have done one of two things: built their own delivery operation, with all the trucks, crews, dispatch, and management that requires, or found a partner who treats the front-door moment as part of the retailer's brand, not just a drop-off. That second model is what Lugg is built around. Retailers, big and small, offer same-day delivery at the point of sale without owning trucks, hiring crews, or running dispatch. Lugg handles the logistics, the vetted crews, and the in-home delivery experience. Ten years from now, the retailers winning at the front door will be the ones who started treating it as a brand moment today. The rest will still be calling it logistics. #LastMileDelivery #RetailLogistics #CustomerExperience #BigAndBulky #Lugg

The week-one bag isn't just for unpacking. In a summer move, it's a survival kit. Moving in 95-degree heat means you're sweating through your clothes by the second flight of stairs. Movers are working harder. Pets are stressed. Kids are melting. And the cooler full of waters? Loaded onto the truck two hours ago, buried behind the couch. Pack a bag, not a box. Keep it with you, not on the truck. Inside: phone charger, deodorant, a clean change of clothes, a hat, sunscreen, electrolytes or Liquid IV, two refillable water bottles, snacks that don't melt, paper towels, and any medication you can't skip a dose of. Toilet paper for the new place too. Almost no one remembers it on day one. The truck is for furniture. The bag is for the people moving it. #Lugg #MovingTips #MovingDay #SummerMoves
