Communication matters, whether you’re talking to a district leader or a room full of second graders. One of our team members, Lindsay Nespeca, visited her daughter’s classroom for Career Day and found a creative way to explain the importance of school-home communication. After sharing what she does as a Customer Success Manager, she led the class in a game of telephone using the phrase: “𝘔𝘺 𝘱𝘦𝘵 𝘵𝘪𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘪 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘱𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘭𝘦𝘴.” By the time the message reached the last student, only one word remained: macaroni. It was a simple but memorable lesson: when messages get lost, misunderstood, or don’t reach the right people, communication breaks down. That’s why we’re passionate about helping districts reach every family through clear, consistent, and accessible communication. When schools and families stay connected, it creates stronger partnerships that support student success.
