Out in the field in NRW 🚌 Kevin Ehrentraut visited one of Staex’s live installations, where we support Mibo bus operator with trusted operational data collection, including GPS tracking, passenger counting, and other key fleet insights. From inspecting the setup to visiting the bus depot and seeing the vehicles in operation, these on-site visits are invaluable. They help ensure that data is collected reliably, securely, and exactly as intended in real-world environments. It’s always rewarding to see how trusted data infrastructure supports smarter mobility and better operational decisions. Privacy is not a feature. It's infrastructure. At the WAIB Summit Monaco, our CGO Ricardo M. joined the panel "Building the Invisible Stack: AI, Privacy, and the Infrastructure Web3 Forgot." One key takeaway: If you don't understand how your encryption keys are distributed, you should not assume your privacy is guaranteed. For years, the industry has treated privacy as an add-on layer. But real privacy starts with architecture, not settings menus. As AI agents, vehicles, sensors, and machines increasingly communicate and transact autonomously, the challenge is no longer encryption itself. The challenge is establishing trust, identity, and secure key distribution at the machine scale. The future of privacy will be built on protocol sovereignty, cryptographic identity, and verifiable trust - not blind faith in service providers.
