long time lurker here. mods might delete this for ruining the premium indicator business but someone has to say it. the default tradingview strategy tester is a trap. it assumes zero slippage, zero spread, and perfect fills on every single candle. people code a basic strategy, see a massive green pnl line, and think they broke the matrix. in a live market, your market orders eat the spread and your limit orders get skipped by high frequency bots. if your pine script does not have heavy commission and realistic slippage hardcoded into the strategy properties, your backtest is just a screenshot generator. stop buying invite only indicators based on default tester results. they are mathematically optimized for fake paper trading, not real accounts
