This morning TomTom on Android gave me this. I typed in my destination and after hitting return I was presented with a box showing start point and end point. The start point said "Current location", but I was able to tap on it and change it. I know many users (not me) have been asking for this so I thought I'd give them a heads up.

I've used Opera for years on my Android phones (currently Pixel 9 Pro), so when I bought a Chromebook it was one of the first apps I installed. But it is so slow to load (I timed it as 40 seconds). Why is this?
I have an Acer Chromebook. I've been an Android fan for years so when our Samsung tablet packed up I bought the Chromebook with the intention of replacing the tablet and my Lenovo PC. I stopped using MS Office years ago and I use Google Docs, Sheets and Slides for everything.
Imagine my surprise when I opened Google Drive for the first time on my Chromebook and found it took ages to load. Google Photos and the Play Store are the same. This has remained a problem for the 6 months I've owned the Chromebook. These are Google Apps on Google operating system and it takes 40 seconds for them to open. Everything is up to date and I've cleared caches, etc.
I'm almost done with Google now. So many things feel like they are in permanent beta. I have never owned an Apple product, but I can hear the MacBook Neo calling.
