For bike messenger Wilee (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), dodging speeding cars, evading crazy cabdrivers, and blowing by millions of cranky pedestrians is all in a day's work. Wilee is one of the best in a dangerous job, and his bike of choice is a Fixie, a lightweight, single-gear unit without brakes. Though Wilee knows that one day he may end up as a smear on the pavement -- he is unprepared for what happens after his last run of the day turns into a life-or-death chase through Manhattan.

The pace of the movie is really fantastic, but once you get past that and realize you've been watching a 90-minute bike chase, which isn't nearly as thrilling as the trailer lets on, you begin to deflate.

While the story is essentially a simple "beat the clock" scenario that maybe we've seen before, it offers decent twists to keep us guessing and clever plot-essential rewind flashbacks to provide exhale time and "ah-ha" wisdom.

Director David Koepp... understands the mechanics of action cinema and he puts the promise of 'Premium Rush' right in the title. There’s not much to the plot but the journey is a rush.

The first few minutes of the movie feels like a breath of fresh air as it seem I thought it would just be a feel good movie. But as it progressed, those bike chasing scenes was become stale for my taste. The movie was good to watch once but can't really repeat what you already know at beginning where an obvious plot armor has given the main character such skill at cycling the streets of New York City. If you want some crazy chasing scenes then I suggest you watch a different movie.

So, lets say you want a movie to watch on a friday night with your family where you dont think too much and just enjoy some popcorn and a soda, you may enjoy this. A good chase 2010's movie with the great Joseph Gordon-Levitt. But, there are a few problens with this movie: the bad sex and swearword jokes that dont land, the long flashback scenes that explaind too much almost calling the audience dumb, the terrible attempt of making a evil speach on the ambulance and ending scene where the corrupt cop dies (i know that is a family friendly movie!!! but it would be better not show his death and implicitly say that). I will pass the bad cgi because it was 2012 🤷‍♂️
