79cc top-up engine.

A compact 79cc engine paired with a BLDC starter-generator delivers 600–800 W of sustained charging — enough to keep the pack topped between silent stretches. Auto-starts when SOC drops or load exceeds the inverter; otherwise idle. External quick-disconnect fuel tank — no built-in tank, no spillage.

Recharges in under two hours.

Connectivity-only mode: a Starlink Mini and the onboard controller at ~40 W average. The control board tracks load, state-of-charge, and fuel — and starts the engine only when it has to.

Starlink Mini and the controller pull ~40 W. Engine off. Pack drains roughly 2.5% per hour. Site at zero decibels.

Past the first night, pack sits near 55% SOC. The control board is happy. Telemetry beats home every minute.

Pack hits ~20%. Engine warm-start, idles up, the starter-generator picks up the load while the pack tops off.
