If you're looking for somewhere in the Southern Parklands that makes a lovely place to just stroll and enjoy nature, well you might find it at . Take some time out, find a place to sit, and just enjoy some time in the sun reading a book or relaxing in these peaceful gardens.



are small, but they make a nice place to visit. Unlike much of the other green space around town, actually have lots of flowers brightening up their space. This makes it a lovely place to set up a picnic. There are no picnic tables or barbecues, which means you're best bringing along a blanket and eating your lunch on the grass. If you're looking for a nice place outside to sit for a while there are benches in the gardens where you can just sit and watch the day go by. There is even a shaded sitting area if the sun is a bit too bright.



You can bring your dog along to the gardens, but it is a dog on leash area so you won't be able to let them run free. There is still lots of room to run at , so it can be a nice place to go with the kids where they can expel all their excess energy. You wouldn't want to play any ball games in the gardens in case your ball lands in the middle of one of the flower beds.



As the gardens can be found in the Southern Parklands you're so close to any other facilities you may need. Toilet and barbecue facilities can be found in the nearby Pityarilla Park, and the Marshmallow Playground is just across the road. If you're looking for ultimate relaxation then is also the home to the Adelaide-Himeji Japanese Gardens. After only a short walk you'll also find the South Terrace Tram Stop, which means you're close to all of the other activities available to do in the CBD.



The tree lined make a lovely place to sit and relax, and are nearby plenty of other facilities. For a peaceful stroll in the parklands give these gardens a go.
