I have barely any friends and i don't really understand why. I think it might just be the way i look. Have you ever been told to change what you're wearing even though others wear the same thing and don't get in trouble? It's because you look better in it. I used to be teased about how i looked, but not anymore!

I'm completely and totally burnt out from this spring season. Between work and school and lame-for-brains, I reallly needed a break. Thankfully it's finally here :)

I've chopped away my hair for locks of love. NOW... i want to dye it. i like making changes -- i think it's refreshing.

I dont know what color(s) or what type of dye job... but the color is a changing. I've done shades of maroons and burgandy before, but I'm thinking different this time.

listen gals, if yall are looking for something super awesome to do:
try volunteering for habitat for humanity. its so empowering and actually really fun. ive never been too outdoorsy, handy or the construction worker type.. but this is actually something i think every girl could dig. it gives me time to clear my head, cause i am so busy that i dont really have time to think about anything other than what i am doing. its rewarding to see everything take shape and become a house. the girl we are building it for is super sweet and i cant wait to go to the dedication. it going to be emotional to see the finished product. i have only done this for 2 weekends, but i know its something that is already positively affecting me.

Hi Everyone! I have been reading your entries for a while now and decided to join.

I am currently working on my dissertation, which is about how socio-cultural influences affect people's lives in today's capitalist society. Within this concept, the idea of "brainwash society" will be explored.

Predominantly, I want to look at western consumerist culture's obsession with the female body / body image.

I have created 2 questionnaires, and I want to use the results in my dissertation. Can I ask you to fill them in? It won't take longer than 5 minutes, I promise! And the questionnaires are anonymous.
