Battlefield 2 chat and gathering area!

i figured i would drop a line and introduce myself. My name is Chris... been playing BF2 for a while (but i took a break from playing when i got deployed) but im back playing like crazy. I just made gunny not too long ago, but i find that having others to play along side are few and far between. I know the whole 'clan' thing, but im not THAT good. I have some guys in my shop that play but having more would be cool too.

I run around as Jester1147 so say hey if you see me. Its also my xfire ID. I am looking at setting up a TeamSpeak to where those that play can join and we can BS/talk smack/etc while we play. makes the experience more enjoyable.

Just thought I'd drop in and say hello since I just joined the community. I hope it hasn't died on me already, not much has happened lately.

Anyway, my girlfriend got me into BF2. The last FPS I played was the original Rainbow Six. I'm now a member of her clan, the Full Throttle Killers. I've played with them a few times, but mostly I play singleplayer because of my unusual play availability (which also gets juggled between City of Heroes and Final Fantasy XII).

From what I've gathered so far, I hate vehicles, but channel that hate into the anti-tank kit, which I play a lot. I'm also fond of the sniper and special forces.

The global unlocks seem pretty interesting and I'm looking forward to working on a bunch of them. It's unfortunate that you don't get credit towards them in singleplayer, but oh well.

My name is K[*]K.QueenOfDeath. I am the scrim coordinator for the Knights of Karbala. We are looking to setup a group of clans who will regularly scrim against one another. We would like to have a member from each clan involved register on our forums as we have created an area specifically for the clans to make challenges and match arrangements. This is not a system like TWL where you are required to play a certain amount. This would be something fun and a chance for your clan to get some extra practice if you are in leagues or just a fun teamwork experience if you’re not.

If a server is an issue we are willing to offer one of ours to be used occasionally for other teams to compete on. The server is ranked and has 32 slots, so any games of 8v8 or larger can be played in a ranked setting or we can turn rankings off to password the server for smaller matches. All match guidelines, times, days, etc are open to negotiation between the clan representatives on our forums.

hi, been playing battlefield 2 for a little while, just started a new account because i hate my weapon upgrade (chose support, i've seen this weapon around, i think it's the final upgrade Assualt rifle, can anyone confirm that please?



if anyone sees me, i'm Vector23, i mostly hang around the EA and multiplay servers in the 'strike at karkand' map, mostly playing medic or assault.

actually, after a bit of rooting around, i've discovered that the gun is the F2000, and is a Special Forces unlock.
apparently, i need the SF add-on, unlock the Assault G3, then i can have the F2000 and use it in 'Vanilla' BF2 games..
*sigh* there's more money i need to spend...

Who thinks the SF medals are a little outrageous to get??
