Ever since I got my CD burner I've been researching discographies, downloading mp3s, and burning identical copies of studio-made CDs for personal enjoyment. It's a bit of a pain though - some songs are hard to find, some cut off in the burning program, some are live, some are mislabeled, and various other irking things come into play.
So I decided to make this community to hopefully help out myself and anyone in my predicament, plus anyone else just interested - a burned CD exchange. Here you can find out if any of our other members have a CD you want that they can burn for you, and likewise if you have a CD requested you can be your benevolent self and burn it for someone else.
Rules And Common Courtesy:
You must have a CD burner to participate. It defeats the purpose if you don't.
For every CD you recieve, you must (or at least should) burn one for someone in the community; preferrably for the person who burned a CD for you, but if something can't be arranged, it will just have to be an unfortunate circumstance. You will still be expected, though, to fulfill a CD request in the future. (I'm not going to hunt everyone down to watch for this but I hope you will be mature enough for this kind of politeness.)
Likewise, for every CD you burn for someone else, you are entitled to recieve one yourself.
Be respectful about musical tastes. I don't want to see the word "poser" used in this community at all.
Charging for CDs will be permitted, but it's completely optional and the methods of money exchange will be left up to you.
