03:32 pm - Wicked
Were we going to discuss the book? Or pick a new one? I'm confused.

I finished Wicked last night and I couldn't have loved the book any more than I did. What a fantastic character. Truly one of my favorites of all time.
I don't want to give anything away without knowing where everyone is in reading the book. What I'd like to do is use a few reading group discussion questions to talk about the book.
So, could you leave a comment here and let me know how far away you are from finishing the book? Already done? Within the next week? Within the next two weeks?
Thanks :)

Hello all! I started Wicked earlier in the week and I'm really enjoying it! What an imaginative mind he has to be able to craft the story of what happened before. Has anyone else started? What do you think.

Thanks to everyone for using the poll for our next book. Looks like we're doing Wicked.
Happy reading. :)

Time to choose a book! I've listed the suggestions received here. Hopefully I didn't miss any. If you want to go back and read what the books are about, you can find them here, here, here, and here.
Choose the next book:
Let's get everyone's input by Sunday night and I'll announce the next book then. :)

Just a reminder, all new book suggestions are due today. I'll post a poll later this evening so we can pick. :)
Here's my suggestion for this time: Wicked

Good morning! :) I think we've come to a consensus that we need to move on to a second book. Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell got mixed reviews from our group - some loved, some had a hard time getting into it. So, let's make suggestions for book #2. On Friday I'll post a poll to vote on the book we'll read next.
As a reminder, any of the previous suggestions are valid and include:
Hidden
Da Vinci Code
Egyptologist
and, theferret has made some more suggestions here.
07:36 am - New Possible Books
Citizen Girl by Emma McLaughlin and Nicola Kraus
The Fourth Queen by Debbie Taylor
I found this while looking at some stuff on Barnes and Noble. Both seem to have mixed reviews, but are recommended by B&N. Any thoughts?

Ok, I really tried with this book. I just can't get into it. I don't know what is wrong with me and my attention span.
Am I missing a really good thing by giving up?
